Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’m not an experienced vegetable gardener?

This is not a problem, we will help guide and teach you through the process. When you work with us you don’t just get a new garden, you get a reliable resource always willing to help.

How much sun do I need for my garden space?

The more sun exposure in the garden space the better, ideally 5-8 hours of direct sunlight is recommended. However, garden spaces can still flourish with less, especially crops that don’t love heat such as leafy greens, root vegetables and lettuces.

How does the automated irrigation work?

We use special drip line irrigation specifically designed for the watering of vegetables. Our system can be installed off of an existing hose spigot or even zoned into your currently existing sprinkler system.

Is gardening kid friendly?

Absolutely, gardening is a wonderful way to promote healthy eating among children at a very early age. Gardening also offers many educational opportunities for the entire family to enjoy. Having your children help plant and learn where food comes from encourages responsibilities at a young age and gives them a true sense of pride in their accomplishments.

How many plants can fit in my garden bed?

This will depend on the size and layout of your custom garden as well as the crops you want to grow. You could fit 1 large tomato plant in the same space as it would take to grow 4 heads of lettuce. We can help plan the entire garden layout for you upon completion of your garden.
